Easter's Coming

Just one week away. What do your plans include?

Any fun projects planned? I did this last year:

Jamie had a great idea with nests and paper mache eggs from Michaels - think I might copy. I just want some nests for year round scattered around my house - until I find real abandoned ones guess I could settle for some faux nests....

There are great ideas out there in the world wide web!!

Like make your own peeps. I don't even like peeps but I think this would be a fun project for the kids and I since they ARE on spring break this week.

Beautiful spring centerpieces. Eggs really are so pretty.

How cute are these little nests? These are must do - my kids LOVE haysacks - why not shape them like nests and all the little cadbury solid chocolate eggs. FUN!

What's on your menu?

For us:
Ham
Sweet potato casserole
Mashed potatoes (because they're Connor's favorite)
Rolls
A new brussels sprout recipe
And a dessert or two of some sort - haven't decided yet:
Tiramisu?
No bake cheesecake? (Joleyn's dads recipe of course)
Something lemony???
Cola Cake? (who knew Coca Cola had all those recipes - check them out) - Becca brought a piece to scrapbooking - so good - probably not good for you - but as she said everything in moderation, right?

It'll just be the 5 of us - and enough food to feed an army. If you are in the Omaha area and you want a good Easter meal and a fun Easter Egg hunt - just send me an email we'd love the company!! :)

I'd love to hear what your family traditions are, recipes, plans, project - please do share!
