It was a good 4th of July

We spent a couple hours in Ralston at their parade which was such a fun small town parade. Loved it. The parade lasted 2+ hours - wow. Then we had lunch and went firework shopping.
Saturday evening we stayed home and enjoyed the fireworks around our neighborhood - it truly sounded like a war zone. Crazy!!! Connor was our official lighter - he was very excited. Think everyone had fun!

More of the Big Horn Mountain Run

Some great photos before the run - Ivan looks cold!

During the run: look at those views!! So beautiful!

Even took a quick break for a photo with his dad - who made the trip down. Him being there meant a lot to Steve. I am so glad Steve's mom and dad walked up a ways so they could cheer him through and to snap some photos of him running. He looks great - a little tired - hence the "wild eyes".

And he is off again - almost to the finish line.

Relaxing after the 11 hours and 41 minutes of running.

He had a big cheering section this year. Me and the boys, both his mom and his dad, my mom and dad, my uncle Jeff, Itchy and Kayleen, Mary and the boys. It was a great day spent at the park - I think he was happy to see us all at the finish line!! WAY TO GO STEVE!!!!

The damage - a pretty bruised cankle - from rolling his ankle - twice. But he is running already - so they are getting better.

Some of our favorite places in Sheridan

We were lucky enough to visit some of our favorite places while in Sheridan:

Sibley Lake:

and Emerson Park - which we lovingly call the Crawdad Park - lots of picnic lunches here when we lived in Sheridan.

I really could move back to Sheridan - really I could.

Friends

I love going back to Sheridan because my bestest friends live there! They are truly the best. We just pick up where we left off. I miss them terribly!

Kim and Eric had all of us over for a bbq after the run on Saturday night - they have a beautiful home and the bbq was such fun - thank you guys SOOOOO much for inviting us all over. We all had such a great time.

Love this picture - he is just so handsome! :)

Kim and Eric had a couple of house guest from Australia and they really did keep us entertained - it was great to meet them! They are lucky enough to be traveling around the US for the next few months - just seeing the sites. Be safe and have fun Scott and Ben.

Vacation was wonderful

It was so good to be back in Miles City and Sheridan. Now we are back in Nebraska and I am missing my family and friends already.
Really we just relaxed, visited and enjoyed the getaway.

Enjoy some random pics from Miles City - up next Sheridan.
