Perfect

So my new friend Jayne told me about this site http://onelittleword.typepad.com/
It's way cool - great challenges for scrapbooking. That's it one small word - you scrap what that might mean to you. This weeks word is Perfect. Here is this my take on it:

Let me tell you - I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! I've missed you George, Izzie, Christina, Alex, Merideth, Burke, Chief, Miranda, Torres, McSteamy but most of all I have missed my MCDREAMY!!!!!!!!!
AHHHH....

That face - I can't tell you just how it makes me fell.....but Jamie you know exactly what I mean - Jodi do you know what I mean? Or are you into McSteamy more?
Oh...Mr Patrick Dempsey you are so truly HOT!!!!!

Sorry Steve, of course, I love you most. You are my real life McDreamy!!! (Not that you ever read my blog) :)

Pictures of my beautiful nieces Maggie and Abby. And even one with me and Maggie.

First Day of School Pics

These are a little late since the kids just finished their 4th week of school, but better late then never. Macey truly is a gorgeous young lady. And the boys are ultra handsome! (If I do say so myself)

Macey and her friend Tiff

Remember my story about the Plain White T's Concert

Well here are a couple of pics of the storm clouds and the boys!

Discovering Nebraska

So last weekend I insisted we go adventure seeking/exploring. I wanted to see the nature part of Nebraska - get away from the meca. This is what we discovered - smack dab in the middle of all these corn fields is Platte River State Park. You can read about it here: http://www.ngpc.state.ne.us/parks/guides/parksearch/showpark.asp?Area_No=224
BEAUTIFUL!!!! It was truly awesome. Like 10 minutes from our house but it felt like home - not big city at all. You can even rent little cabins. I think we may try to do that this fall if they are open that late.

We have acorns!!!!

Lincoln Journal Tower

At the top - scarry!!!

View from the top - beautiful!!!

This was pretty cool - although some what humourous. We saw a trail head sign that said "The Falls" and we thought - WAY COOL!!!! So we walked the beautiful trail - (the picture of us up above were on the trail) and got to "The Falls" A flat rock where the itty bitty creek flows over ( I guess we are used to falls like in Wyoming and Montana). But still beautiful!!!

This church is beautiful (I keep using that word) Over 100 years old (think it said 1896) - again right in the middle of the corn fields right off the highway.

Photography

I am excited to say I might just learn how to USE my camera after all. Today I start a Basic Photography class at the community college. I am very excited about it. And when I say use - I mean learn all the technical side of taking a great photo - light, aperture, shutter speed, etc.....I just want to know how to get great shots of the kids - of al the great things I see - like old barns, building and trucks, rocks, leaves, flowers, animals, etc. etc. Hopefully I will improve and can post some of my "work" in the coming months. Wish me luck!!!

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad

Hope you have a wonderful day Mom and Dad! I love you and miss you both very much!.
