Ready for a Change...

I look happy here right?
I am happy...

There are many things that help bring me to true happiness...
fullness...
peace!

I want to share those things with you...

This handsome man:

Our awesome kiddoes:

Our sweet pups:

Our family:
Faith:

 Creating:

Being in nature...

Good friends:

 Connecting with other creatives:

Music:
(so love this song - enjoy!!)

Yoga:

 Running:

Helping others:

Dancing:

Being Grateful:

Celebrating other's gifts, talents, successes:

I am sure I am leaving a few things out but the gist is...
there are many things that can fill my life with greatness...
leaving no room for the things that make me crazy!!
There is no room for...
comparing...
competing...
looking for what is wrong with me or any given situation...
trying to newt-ify the penguins around me...
(thank you Katie and Gay Hendricks)
expecting rather than giving...
trying to be someone I am not...
or wishing I was more like someone else...
or jealous of someone's talents...
or pining for ther people's approval or to be part of the in crowd.

Life is just too beautiful for setting yourself up for failure!!!

 So with that being said...
I am shutting off comments...
I am going to post away without a schedule or any commitment...
just for fun and when I feel like it...
going to stay away from facebook for a while...
I will still post links to blog posts and post photos and new product updates...
but I am not going to check in all the time to see how many likes I have...
or to see who approves...
or to comment back...
because I LOVE Star Hitched Wagon and the products I create...
and I love to share our life, my crazy lists and likes...
Nothing will change that...
I know you do to...
that's why you are here and there!!!
Thank you!!
You are celebrated!

I need all the time, that I spend checking in to see if
my traffic is high, if my stats are good, if my posts or photos are liked,
for all the beauty makers in life!!
I know you understand!!!
If you need to get ahold of me email is open!!!
And I always love to hear from you...

Now go celebrate your beautiful life!!

Also reminds me of where I want to go in the year to come.

 Awesome trip...

We were all truly in awe of Nature's Beauty!

First wholesale order for Star Hitched Wagon.

Took an awesome jewelry class from Deryn Mentock.

August

First art festival of the year for Star Hitched Wagon.
Big West in Sheridan is always a terrific weekend!
Mom and Dad came to help out as well as Auntie Carol.
Their help is HUGE!!!  And it's so fun to have them there along with me.
Another huge highlight Bob and Jo drove down from Denver to suprise me!
Awesome treat!
Really great weekend!

December

Star Hitched Wagon did the Horseshoe Holiday Market in Denver.
An awesome show!
Steve and the boys and Bob and Jo helped out soooo much.
Had to be completely unloaded, set up and ready for customers in less that 90 minutes!
We did it thanks to EVERYONE'S help!
Jo and I sold the day away and got to interact with some really awesome customers!

Moved Macey back home...so excited she will be starting school at MSU in the fall!

 Christmas!

Goodbye 2012...

It's that last day of 2012.
So I decide to go back to my goals post from January 2012
just to see how I progressed.
How I did...

So let's see...

1.  Working towards a life I love?
This will be a forever work in progress.
I had many steps forward and, of course, many steps back.
But I continue to head in the right direction.
 One thing is for certain...
I am blessed!
Tremendously blessed!
I love my life!
2.  Create more often?
Paint?
Get Messy?
Sew?
Play with clay?
Sadly no on ALL of these...
The desire is still present.
So these will roll over to 2013's list of things to enjoy!

3.  Get my business up and running full steam ahead?
My labels were finally finished!
They took much much longer that I would have ever expected!!
A sweet angel stepped forward and offered her help
in finishing them up when my designer check out.
They are gorgeous and my new brand looks so strong!
I created jewelry I love!
Did three AWESOME shows!
Two awesome open houses!
Three new wholesale accounts!
 Advertised in FOLK magazine.
It was a good start...excited to see where 2013 takes Star Hitched Wagon.

4.  Judge less - love more?
Tried...
Something that will need to be worked at
on a daily basis.

5.  Kick my ego to the curb?
Good days and bad days.
6.  Get real - see the truth - be true?

 Again...
good days and bad days.
Really liked that I had this to focus on.
Was a useful tool in many situations...
snapped me back to reality.

7.  Make friends?
:(
I need to really work on putting myself out there.
Over the year I realized just how bad I am about keeping the walls up.
Accepted that I am responsible for how this one turns out.
Also...something very important that I MUST mention.
I am BLESSED with a very awesome large family!
So this means I have many BEST friends!

8.  Yoga, running, walking, lifting or elliptical every single day of the week??
Ha ha...
Not even close.
Plenty of those things existed.
Not even close to every day of the week.

9.  Run a marathon?
YES!!!!
 And it was awesome!

10.  Yell less?
Probably not.

11. Be happy, smile and laugh and sing and dance?  ALOT?
Not as much as I should of.

12.  Scrapbook?
Yes!
Week in the Life?
One Little Word?
Project Life?
NOPE!
13.  Dream big and work hard to achieve?
Huge dreams.
Worked hard but could have worked harder.
14.  Blog?
Boy...not much at all.
So there ya have it.
Me checking in on myself to see how I did.
It was a good year.
I could do better.
Many discoveries have been made...
Excited about 2013
and the many chances given to live in the moment.
Thinking about my goals...
more about how I want to feel...
Not so many to do lists...
but definitely will make a Bucket List.

So how did you do?
I'd love to hear!
