A Beautiful Gift From Above

These are photos of Macey from our Wedding Day - she is so sweet! Love these photos!
I used a sketch from Feeling Scrappy's monthly sketch challenge done by the ever-so-talented Stacey Lokovic.

Sorry so overdue!!!

My parents came for Easter they arrived last Thursday and left Tuesday of this week. Wow - it was so wonderful to have them here. I have been missing them horribly so I was so ready for a visit. It's just so nice to hang out with them. The kids were in heaven. They really just love them. We didn't do anything huge - just lots of hanging out together. We did a little shopping, ate out, went to Easter mass....
Mom and I made our Easter dinner - it was very yummy! We had ham and turkey breast (that I did in the crock pot - a recipe from my friend Jayne), mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, rolls (like Suzy's), and I made an apple pie and mom made the YUMMIEST no bake cheesecake (a recipe she got from Fred - someone she used to work with - THANKS Fred - I think it is my new favorite dessert!!!) There was a ton of food - it was very nice!
I was sad to see them go but I think poor Connor was the saddest - he cried himself to sleep Monday night before they left - he just had so much fun with them here - he hated to see them go.
Here are some pictures from Easter:

Sad to say Macey worked on Easter - :( So she didn't go to Easter Mass with us - which is why she isn't in these dress up photos - we took these as soon as we got home from Mass. We did eat our dinner when she go t home and she did do the Easter Egg hunt with us.

Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium

Have you seen this movie? Wow - it is so fun - such a great message!!! Perfect family movie - although I want to buy it for myself and watch it over and over and over again while I scrapbook!!! :) Magic and music, toys and sparkle - great actors too! Mahoney (Natalie Portman) is so dang cute. Dustin Hoffman is wonderful - played the ecentric Mogorium perfectly!! The little boy makes me cry - he is so sweet. And Mutant - I mean Henry who is played by Jason Bateman is a great addition - plays an a uptight accountant well. We laughed and cried - really it is a MUST SEE!!

Scott & Kris

While I was going through a box of older pictures I found our good friends Scott & Kris's wedding announcement with these two wonderful pictues. So I put them on a page. The detail is what their announcement read - such a great little poem. And the embossed backing on the top picture was the card front. So I used almost the entire announcement in the page. :)
Sorry Kris and Scott - is you don't want this on my blog let me know and I will take it off! :) But man these are wonderful pictures!

The Best Batman

The page isn't anything to special - but the photos are just awesome! These were from Xanders 5th birthday - he was SO excited to get this batman "weapon" belt. This was for the Word Challenge at Feelin Scrappy! They have some great challenges over there if you haven't checked it out yet!!!
